The place at Narnia House we call “The Wood Between the Worlds” Room is still in process, but will highlight the things of earth: plants, trees growing through it, chunks of rock, our collection of Homesteading books — and of course a rug that looks like a pool (which you’ll recognize if you’ve read The Magician’s Nephew). 😉
It has a private sitting deck made of cedar, all designed to take you to another world.
“It was the quietest wood you could possibly imagine….You could almost feel the trees growing. The pool he had just got out of was not the only pool….You could almost feel the trees drinking the water up with their roots. This Wood was very much alive.”
When he tried to describe it afterwards Digory always said,
“It was a rich place.”
