Participating in our Cow Adoption Program enables us to start our Black Angus herd at Magnalia Homestead & Farm. And it provides you with reasonably priced, grass-fed organic beef! All who pre-order for our 2024 deliveries receive a Premium Grass-Fed ¼ Cow (usually a 12-18 month old bull), as well as naming rights on one of our breeding cows (like Scheffler, pictured above) — which will remain in residence on our farm for a period of years.

Magnalia Farm’s Black Angus are not ordinary. They are hand-selected by our “Flerd” Managers, Zack and Todd Payne, to create Angus genetics known for beef that is marbling and delicious. We will offer them no antibiotics or added hormones, and will not provide animal bi-products in their feed. Once weaned off their mother’s milk, our cows eat nothing but Homestead grass and forages (like hay) and drink nothing but water from the rain, from Hogan’s Creek, and from the well water from our land. We treat them as if they are coming to the tables of our kids and grandkids. Because they are!

Please note that when you purchase this item, you will receive (at the delivery date) packages of fine Angus beef that will require about 4-5 cubic feet of freezer space.
