The Engine Room

Behind the scenes at every community meal here there are many helpers, sometimes just gathering up and washing dishes, who bring joy to it all. These two gents ran The Engine Room last night, receiving the dishes from 40 guests at Table who were served up a 7-course meal as part of a grand Feast of St. Patrick & The Ulster Scots. Their faces make us smile: Uncle Eddie Mateo VE and his nephew (and “best friend”), William James Wolfe.
