Signs of Easter are everywhere!

Resurrection glory: things dying to bring new life.

The Dutch tulips were my favorite sight here, until we realized that the farm’s new Bluebird Trail has already attracted tenants!

Magnalia Dei was a puritan expression used to describe the glory of God revealed in the things that he had made. It’s an important concept to consider because, as Paul Tripp has tightly observed:

Only the gargantuan glory of God can rescue you from all the miniglories of creation that regularly seduce and kidnap your heart.

So, may the marvels of Spring renew our souls as they are designed to do: ever-always pointing us as “sign glory” to the deeper things, like the great Resurrection itself, and the promise of New Life in Christ.
